Tai Felton, an in-state 2021 WR out of Stone Bridge High School in Northern Virginia, visited Virginia Tech yesterday and had lots of positive things to say about the Hokies. https://twitter.com/taifelton15/status/1094345007216103424 "[My visit] was great," said Felton. "I really think I'm starting to build a good relationship with all the coaches and I like what they're doing with the program." Felton received his offer from Virginia Tech in early December, and the Hokies have continued to pursue him heavily since then. On this first visit to Blacksburg, Felton said he was most impressed by the coaching staff. "They really care about you as a person, and they want to do what's best for you and your family," he said. "It was very comforting. It felt like a second home already on my first visit." In particular, Felton said he was able to spend some quality time with new Virginia Tech wide receivers coach Jafar Williams. "We talked about some football related stuff and just really tried to get to know each other since he has been there for such a short period of time," said Felton. In addition, he said that head coach Justin Fuente also made a good impression on him. "He was really trying to get to know me and my family more during our time together," Felton said. Even though Virginia Tech is Felton's only official offer, there are certainly other schools with high interest, and Felton said he is keeping his options open. Still, the Hokies seem to be in great position after this visit. "It made a huge impact," Felton said of the visit to Blacksburg. "It has me thinking very highly of Tech."
