After taking care of business against Boston College, the #19 Virginia Tech Hokies are heading on the road looking to stay alive in the ACC Championship race at Wake Forest. Of course, the Demon Deacons will likely have their eyes set on trying to avenge their defeat last year which became Tech's only home victory against a ranked opponent of the decade.
With that in mind, Tech is pulling out a slightly different road uniform.

The Hokies are going with their all-white uniforms other than maroon helmets with Brock Hoffman revealing this week's choice. This will be the first time that the Hokies wear this uniform combination this season.
Of course, this is the first time that Virginia Tech has played at Wake Forest since the infamous 6-3 double overtime loss where Tech and Wake didn't score a single point in regulation. Tech has wore the same color scheme in terms of uniforms at North Carolina earlier this season, but understandably did not pull that out this week given that history.
The Hokies know that a win against Wake gets them a week closer to what could be an ACC Championship elimination game between the Hokies and Miami if both teams can continue to take care of business after losing at UNC and Clemson respectively two weeks ago.
