There's been no position group that's seen a more dramatic overhaul since the arrival of Brent Pry than the WR room. This offseason alone has seen seven new wide receivers join the room with three transfers plus four freshmen. This is a unit where most the stories center on the newcomers though there are a few notable returnees.
Here's a look at the top storylines for the Hokies at WR ahead of fall camp.
Transfer Trio Gets Ready to Make Their Mark
Any talk about Virginia Tech's wide receiver has to start with the transfers who have helped overhauled this group in Old Dominion's Ali Jennings, Middle Tennessee State's Jaylin Lane, and Norfolk State's Da'Quan Felton. All three are poised for large roles in 2023 with at least two seeming very likely, if not certain, to start from day one.
