Reynolds, the junior transfer out of Penn State, has quickly become the ‘shiny new toy’ in Blacksburg following a very strong showing in the Spring Game in April. He is the real deal and will be a great addition for the Hokies’ offense this season. In 2025, he totaled 257 yards on 26 receptions, no touchdowns, 9.9 yards per reception, two carries for 26 yards, and 13 yards per carry. He is a big body at 6’4” and 250 pounds, the same as Benji Gosnell. Reynolds, overall, is very similar to Gosnell in many ways, which is good because the offense ought not to be handicapped when either or both of them are on the field. This will open up several possibilities for said offense that perhaps we can dive deeper into later this summer. Regardless, the Hokies have two awesome starting tight ends to utilize this season.
