With the 2025 Virginia Tech Baseball season coming to an end last week, it is time to take a look at what this team may look like next year.
This article was written and published prior to the opening of the transfer portal and MLB Draft, so there will be roster changes over the summer and fall before the 2026 season starts in February.
I will touch on the transfer portal needs without names. Once the portal is open and we see Virginia Tech players entering and other players committing, they will be included in the live updates of this article. Note that the Hokies still have a pair of staff changes to complete after parting ways with pitching coach Ryan Fecteau and director of player development Kyle Sarazin.
