DB Devon Hunter Rejoins the Virginia Tech Football Team

While most expected the end of the recruiting dead period to be the top story out of Blacksburg today, the Virginia Tech football program made an unexpected announcement that Devon Hunter has been allowed to rejoin the football team.

Hunter was suspended before last season due to some off-the-field legal issues as we detailed previously here last fall. Hunter has since agreed to a plea deal and as head coach Justin Fuente's statement mentions, expressed remorse that has allowed him to return to the team.
