Virginia Tech hasn't had the start to the 2024 season that anyone hoped for, going 3-3 including a disappointing 2-2 in non-conference play. However, there is reason for optimism after they seemed to hit their stride against a really good Miami before routing Stanford in the type of dominant performance that most expected to see from this team against weaker competition this season.

While a lot of starters will certainly be limited this week to help them rest up for the closing half of the season, there will be plenty of young guys pushing for more playing time who gets increased chances this week to show they're ready for their chances. With that in mind, here are five Hokies that I'm monitoring who could see their roles grow as the season goes along.
