Virginia Tech is looking for their first non-conference win versus a Power 5 opponent since beating West Virginia in 2017 when they take on Purdue this Saturday. Tech has some momentum going into this game after Tech took care of business last week with a sloppy but comfortable 36-17 victory over Old Dominion.
The Hokies should expect a hungry Boilermaker team looking for their first win under new head coach Ryan Walters after being upset at home last week by Fresno State.
