Virginia Tech made a major recruiting statement via the #TX2VT movement once again as four-star WR Latrell Neville committed to the Hokies this evening.

Neville is the fifth commit joining four-star QB and fellow Texas native Dematrius Davis, three-star ATH/CB Nykelius Johnson, three-star DB Jalen Hoyle, and three-star LB William Johnson. Neville is now the fourth recruit from the state of Texas in the 2020 and 2021 classes to commit to the Hokies along with Davis, Robert Wooten, and Alec Bryant. Of course, Wooten and Bryant were members of the 2020 class and signed with Virginia Tech this past December.
Neville gives the Hokies a big wide receiver in a class where Tech is looking to add some bigger, more physical receivers to offset some of the speedier receivers they've added in recent classes including Dallan Wright and Tyree Saunders in the 2020 class. Additionally, Neville could headline a strong wide receiver group for the Hokies with Tech among those standing out for three-star WR Joshua Burrell, and having the 247 Sports' Crystal Ball trend in their favor for three-star WR Ahmari Huggins-Bruce.
We will have more as this story develops.
