Three-Star OL Kaden Moore Flips From Bowling Green to Virginia Tech

VT v UNC 2019 30

After receiving a Hokies offer recently, three-star interior offensive lineman Kaden Moore flipped his commitment from Bowling Green to Virginia Tech.

Moore is the second 2020 offensive line commitment for Virginia Tech joining three-star OT Parker Clements. He had offers from Virginia Tech, Bowling Green, and others while being ranked as a top 90 offensive tackle by 247 Sports. Moore gives Tech an interior offensive lineman this class after Tech's interior depth took a hit due to transfers from Joe Kane and John Harris, and a medical retirement from Will Pritchard.

Here's what Moore had to say on why he chose to commit to Virginia Tech.

"I just loved the players and coaches. Brock Hoffman was definitely a big reason. The whole team had an amazing bond, and the coaching staff was great, and the atmosphere I saw just in those 2 days was mind blowing," Moore said.

His official visit this weekend proved to be very important in leading to his commitment.

"It was definitely a HUGE part because I met many coaches and players. I needed to see everything and get that feeling, and I definitely got it," Moore said.

Moore added that while Vance Vice told him they'll give him opportunities all over the offensive line, he sees his best fit coming at guard or center. Having Moore develop along the interior of the OL also makes the most sense for the Hokies given the trio of recent interior departures.
