I reported back on August 1st that Virginia Tech was expressing interest in JMU LB and 2025 Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year Trent Hendrick to his agent along with several other Power 4 programs after rulings began to come in that suggested Class of 2022 athletes could get preliminary court injunctions to become eligible for one more season.
Since then, Hendrick has gotten the injunction to become eligible and enter the transfer portal. Virginia Tech has continued their interest in Hendrick so with that said, here’s the latest we’re hearing on the Hokies and Hendrick.
