With James Franklin officially on board in Blacksburg, there will be plenty of speculation about who will be joining his staff including his offensive and defensive coordinators will be. The list of potential names is fascinating as Franklin has shown great willingness to hire someone outside his coaching tree who is a rising name including when he hired his past three OCs in Kirk Ciarrocca (Minnesota), Mike Yurcich (Oklahoma State), and Andy Kotelnicki (Kansas).
There are plenty of intriuging names within Franklin's past who could certainly contend for this job while it wouldn't be shocking to see him reach outside of that network either. So with that said, here's my look at potential offensive coordinator candidates to watch for James Franklin and Virginia Tech.
