The Virginia Tech Hokies had a great weekend on the recruiting trail gaining three commitments from a trio of three-star recruits in OG John Harris, DE Eli Adams, and DT Cam Goode. The Hokies built a lot of recruiting momentum and have taken advantage of that to add their 7th commitment in the past three weeks. Three-star athlete and former NC State commit Nadir Thompson committed to Virginia Tech today while visiting the Hokies. The three-star athlete is expected to play cornerback and is the fourth North Carolina commit in this class joining four-star WR Tre Turner, three-star CB DJ Crossen, and three-star DT Joe Kane. Thompson is well-regarded with ESPN having him as a four-star recruit and all other major recruiting rankings having him as a three-star. Thompson is also as a top 20 North Carolina recruit and top 45 athlete by ESPN, 247 Sports, and the 247 Sports Composite. Thompson is a big pickup for the Hokies as Virginia Tech had him near the top of their DB board and have been pushing for him a while including for months while he was committed to NC State.
