Virginia Tech has built some recruiting momentum in the 757 for the 2025 recruiting cycle as three-star CB Knahlij Harrell out of Virginia Beach, VA has committed to the Hokies.

Harrell chose the Hokies over fellow finalists West Virginia and Maryland plus other offers from Duke, East Carolina, Appalachian State, Liberty, Temple, Marshall, Coastal Carolina, and more.
He committed to the Hokies along with one of his teammates, three-star WR Jayden Anderson. He is one of three in-state commits along with Anderson and three-star OT Carter Stallard, while Tech also has a commitment from three-star QB Kelden Ryan out of Texas.
His commitment makes it back-to-back cycles that the Hokies have landed at least one recruit out of Green Run HS after four-star WR Keylen Adams signed with VT this past cycle.
Harrell has been a fairly low profile recruit, but the Hokies have been very intentional in their pursuit of him on their way to landing his commitment. His decision also comes after he recently took visits to VT and WVU, showing how much Tech did in part on his visit to close the deal for him.
Tech definitely isn't done at cornerback this cycle with Richmond CB Terrance Edwards and 757 CB Jahmari DeLoatch among the names to watch.
