Brent Pry has made his mark on his first Signing Day at Virginia Tech flipping talented in-state offensive tackle Brody Meadows from Virginia to the Hokies.
With lots of consideration and conversation with my family, I have decided to commit to @VT_FootballNews @CoachPryVT @jcprice59 @TechLunchPailD pic.twitter.com/xY56LaIqZ2

Meadows will sign with the Hokies over UVA where he had been committed for months along with offers from Michigan State, Tennessee, Arizona State, Maryland, Georgia Tech, West Virginia, Purdue, and others. He joins a strong offensive line class that includes four-star Gunner Givens plus three-star recruits Johnny Dickson, Braelin Moore, Johnny Garrett, and Xavier Chaplin.
This is a major recruiting statement in the Commonwealth for Brent Pry and his staff as Meadows had largely been overlooked by Justin Fuente. Pry turned on the heat upon his arrival in Blacksburg and pulls a big time flip especially doing so for a guy committed to rival UVA. Landing Meadows is the first proof that Pry is ready to live up to his promise of prioritizing the "footprint" on the recruiting trail and especially the Commonwealth of Virginia.
With Meadows on board, Tech should be done at offensive line unless Xavier Chaplin were to go elsewhere. However, Tech isn't done at Meadows' Graham HS as three-star WR Xayvion Bradshaw is poised to be one of their priorities during the sprint to National Signing Day in February.
We will have more as this story develops.
