Blessed to announce my commitment to Virginia Tech! 🦃 #ThisIsHome #Committed #GoHokies @CoachPryVT @TylerBowen @Coachcrist1 @HokiesFB @CoachBeck_PTF @PTFFootball pic.twitter.com/MqZUtoNwwJ
Ryan chose the Hokies over other offers from Penn State, Miami Arkansas, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Pittsburgh, Duke, Missouri, Colorado, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt, Washington State, Houston, California, SMU, and more. He is the first commit for the Hokies in the 2025 class.
This is the earliest in a recruiting cycle that Virginia Tech has landed a commit in the Brent Pry era. Landing Ryan now also gives the Hokies a valuable recruiter early in the cycle to help really get things rolling in 2025 especially given the value of QBs recruiting players to join him nowadays.
Ryan may not be the highest in the recruiting rankings at the moment, but his offer list is quite strong with many of those offers coming this spring. He also has received many of those offers this year showing how he would most likely be a take at most of those places currently.
We will have more as this story develops.
