Virginia Tech’s strong offensive line recruiting has continued as the Hokies have landed a commitment from three-star OL Adrian Hamilton out of Washington D.C.
Hamilton chose the Hokies over finalists Michigan State and Virginia plus offers from West Virginia, Duke, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Maryland, Cincinnati, Stanford, Boston College, Wake Forest, and others.
He is the Hokies’ fourth offensive line commit joining four-star OT Thomas Wilder, three-star OT Tyrell Simpson, and three-star OL Buddy Wegdam.
This is another big recruiting victory for Matt Moore, who has elevated Virginia Tech’s offensive line recruiting significantly since his arrival.
Three-star interior OL Malcolm Gaston and Jaiden Edwards are names to watch looking ahead. It’s also easy to imagine the Hokies being a little more patient going forward for a fifth OL in this class and taking some bigger swings first whether that’s on borderline five-star OL Darius Gray out of Richmond (who took an official visit in April) or an OL target committed elsewhere like Clemson four-Star OL commit Carter Scruggs.
We will have more as this story develops.
