Virginia Tech kicked off the Fourth of July weekend well on the recruiting trail landing a commitment from three-star WR Tucker Holloway.
COMMITTED! Thankful to be part of Hokie Nation! Thank you to everyone who helped me in any way to get to where I am today, I’m forever grateful. Time to get to work. @CoachFuente @Jafar_Williams @CoachSturdivan1 pic.twitter.com/sFWHVVZTGf

Holloway becomes Tech's second commit from the state of North Carolina along with four-star LB Xavier Simmons. He's also the second WR commit along with three-star Daequan Wright though some consider Wright a TE prospect given his size.
Holloway quickly emerged as one of Tech's top receiver target after being offered this past spring with a couple June visits helping the Hokies fend off Iowa State and others for him. Holloway has great size and speed that makes him a fascinating, high upside prospect.
With Holloway in, it's hard to imagine the Hokies taking another wide receiver this cycle due to the right numbers unless it is a can't miss prospect.
We will have more as this story develops.
