Radford helped lead the men’s team to a 2-0 record last week after picking up victories against the #19 Duke Blue Devils and Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
In both games, Radford led the Hokies in scoring by having eighteen points against the Blue Devils and twenty points against the Demon Deacons; his shooting was also off the charts as he recorded a cumulative 68.4% from the field.
On top of his outstanding performance against the Blue Devils, the redshirt sophomore recorded his first double-double (18 points and 12 rebounds) of his season and the fourth of his career at Virginia Tech. On the season, Radford is third on the team in scoring (11.2) and second in rebounding (6.2).
Radford became the second Hokie to earn ACC Player of the Week honors after Keve Aluma received the honor back on November 30th.

For Elizabeth Kitley, she averaged 18 points and 17.5 rebounds over the last two matchups for the Hokies who picked up a victory over the North Carolina Tar Heels and suffered a defeat to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
In the victory over the Tar Heels, Kitley collected her eighth double-double (18 points and 14 rebounds) of the season. She still leads the conference in double-doubles for the 2020-21 season and is one off the national lead.
In the loss to the Demon Deacons, Kitley recorded a career-high 21 rebounds which also ties the highest rebounding total by a Virginia Tech women’s basketball player.
Kitley continues to build off her successful freshman year with the Hokies as she currently averages 17.7 points, 11.8 rebounds, and an ACC-high 2.1 blocks per game.
