Virginia Tech baseball has hired Easton Dally as its new General Manager and Director of Baseball Operations, bringing on a promising talent from East Carolina University.

Dally spent six seasons with the Pirates—first as a student manager, then as a graduate assistant—where he took on a wide range of responsibilities including travel coordination, equipment management, and oversight of summer camps. His experience at a top-tier program made him a clear fit for the Hokies’ evolving program.

Originally from Greenville, Dally holds degrees in business administration and kinesiology from ECU. As the Hokies continue building their brand within the ACC, Dally’s appointment marks another step toward strengthening the program’s foundation and long-term competitiveness.

Head coach John Szefc spoke highly of Dally’s addition.

Easton will be a tremendous addition to our support staff. He was very highly recommended by the East Carolina coaching staff, which says a lot about his ability to function in a high-level program.” Szefc added that he’s eager to work alongside Dally and integrate his organizational skills into the daily operations of the team. Dally’s behind-the-scenes experience is expected to enhance both efficiency and professionalism within the program."
