The spring transfer portal window has now opened on the football front and Virginia Tech has already gotten busy reaching out to a few different transfers.
Here’s a few transfers to watch early on for the Hokies along with an update on one of the biggest targets on the board.
Arkansas OT Andrew Chamblee
All-SEC Freshman Team OT Andrew Chamblee emerged on the radar over the weekend when Pete Thamel of ESPN mentioned the Hokies as a team to watch. Then when the portal opened yesterday, Chamblee told me that Virginia Tech had extended him an offer and that offensive coordinator Tyler Bowen had been in contact with him.
