Youngstown State grad transfer Justus Reed has emerged as one of the nation's top transfer targets since entering the portal recently. Now, he has set up two official visits to a pair of ACC rivals.

Reed told us that he will be taking an official visit to Virginia Tech the weekend of April 11th followed by an official visit to Florida State the weekend of April 18th. The two ACC schools are among numerous programs that have reached out to Reed including LSU, Ole Miss, Indiana, and others.

Reed previously told us that Virginia Tech was the first school to reach out to him and the first to offer him upon officially entering the transfer portal. That timeline included defensive coordinator Justin Hamilton reaching out to Reed with Reed describing Hamilton as "genuine."

The major interest in Reed is not surprising after he had 19 tackles for loss including 13 sacks on his way to earning Missouri Valley Conference First Team honors. Reed also had great size for defensive end as Youngstown State lists him at 6'3'' and 270 pounds.

We will have more as this story develops.
