This past Wednesday, I had the chance to sit down for exclusive one-on-one interviews with Virginia Tech head coach Brent Pry along with new offensive and defensive coordinators Philip Montgomery and Sam Siefkes to discuss the state of the program, their various philosophies on coaching and their specific units, offseason moves, and more. I want to thank all three for taking time out of their days to sit down and answer the questions that I had for them and provide their insights to our TLP Insiders.

What I discussed with all three coaches will continue to come out on the site and our email newsletters in various formats and focuses. However, I will also be releasing the full interview transcripts of each interview starting with my exclusive interview with Brent Pry.

During my interview with Pry, we touched on a wide variety of subjects from what needs to happen for VT to go from a mid-pack ACC team to a consistent conference contender, how the integration of over 50 new players and two new coordinators has gone, what the status of Kyron Drones is, the impact Jarrett Ferguson is having on the weight room, the upcoming recruiting official visit weekends, and more.

So for our TLP Insiders, here's the full transcript of my interview with Brent Pry. Note that the questions or cross-talk from myself are summarized for purposes of brevity to allow the focus to be on the insights shared by the Hokies' head coach. There are moments where my full questions or cross-talk response will be shared in quotations as needed to assist you in understanding the progression of my conversation with Pry.
