Virginia Tech Set to Host 2021 Four-Star DE Naquan Brown This Weekend

Na Quan Brown Feb 2019

Virginia Tech is set to host lots of talented recruits for their home opener against Old Dominion this weekend including 2021 four-star DE Naquan Brown, one of the most talented recruits in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Brown, who visited the Hokies most recently in June, has been on campus several times with this poised to only be his second visit to Blacksburg for a game. That previous visit went quite well as the Hokies have continued to make the 757 defensive end a top priority.

Brown told us that he is most looking forward to seeing "the atmosphere" and "the fans" especially with this being the second game that he has visited at Virginia Tech.

This visit should give Brown a great opportunity to strengthen the strong relationship he has built as Brown previously told us that he has a "great bond" with DL coach Charley Wiles and a "good" relationship with area recruiter Zohn Burden, a great combination that makes the Hokies a top contender in his recruitment.

In addition to his visit to VT this weekend, Brown also has visits scheduled to LSU, Kentucky, and Michigan with Brown having taken a visit to North Carolina recently kicking off his fall visits.

Outside of his visits, Brown told us that the Hokies are among the schools recruiting him the hardest including LSU, Penn State, North Carolina, TCU, Florida, West Virginia, and Wake Forest; a list that shows the broad range of elite programs pursuing him. That list may also grow soon with Brown telling us that he feels Ohio State and Florida are the closest to offering him next.

Virginia Tech has a great opportunity to continue to separate themselves as a top contender in Brown's recruitment with Brown getting to immerse himself in the gameday atmosphere for the second time during his recruitment.
