After just offering him last month, Virginia Tech has already emerged as a top contender for three-star OL Jaden Lindsay with the Hokies making his top 5.

The Hokies were joined in Lindsay's top 5 by Tennessee, East Carolina, Appalachian State, and Coastal Carolina. He had this to say about why the Hokies made the cut for his top 5.
"I like Coach Vance (Vice) and I believe the coaching staff at VT can help me get closer to my dreams," Lindsay said.
Lindsay had this to say about why each of the other schools made his top 5.
"I'm very close with the offensive line coach at App State. I like what there doing up there and it's close to home," Lindsay said. "ECU made it because they are turning their program around. Coastal Carolina made it because it's in a popular area, there's a lot to do there, and I think they're going to have a good program soon."
"Tennessee made it because they are one of the top classes in the SEC, they are turning heads, and they are starting something big up there."
As mentioned above, a big reason why Virginia Tech made the top 5 for Jaden Lindsay is because of Vance Vice with the two having a strong relationship.
"He's a real cool coach. He's understanding and reminds me of my head coach," Lindsay said.
The Hokies are also putting in the work in pursuing him with VT and Appalachian State recruiting Lindsay the hardest currently.
At this point, Lindsay doesn't have visits on his schedule (in-person or virtual), but he did tell us that in regards to Virginia Tech, he's "got to see the place in person."
Lindsay is still open to schools that did not make his top 5 with multiple ACC schools that haven't offered him yet showing interest in him including Clemson, Syracuse, and Wake Forest.
For now, the Hokies are top contenders for priority interior offensive line target Jaden Lindsay with VT making his top 5 being a validation of that.
