The Hokies were joined by NC State, Cincinnati, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, and Virginia in Henderson's top 6. He also holds offers from West Virginia, Boston College, Arizona, James Madison, Liberty, Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, and more.
While Henderson may be kind of an unknown to many Hokie fans, he's also a player with immense talent who seems underrated to not be a four-star recruit when you look at his production.
Through only nine games, Henderson has 1,550 rushing yards and 26 touchdowns on only 107 carries while averaging an absurd 14.5 yards per carry while also having nine catches for 133 yards and two touchdowns. What's even crazier is the fact that Henderson is averaging 11.5 yards per carry for his high school career, and he still is only a junior.
It wouldn't be surprising to see the Hokies take a pair of running backs in the 2025 class even after taking two in the 2024 cycle, especially with Bhayshul Tuten out of eligibility following next season. Henderson clearly has immense talent and would be a strong addition to their 2025 class that already includes three-star QB Kelden Ryan out of Texas.
Tech has been heating up on the field, and now may be heating up on the recruiting trail as well with the 2025 class.
