Amidst all the question marks and points of contention for the Virginia Tech men’s basketball team heading into the 2023-24 season, Mike Young should be able to rely on one specific position group. The Hokies return all four of their key guards from last season: Hunter Cattoor, Sean Pedulla, MJ Collins, and Rodney Rice.
That quartet made up 43% of Tech’s scoring output last season. With double-digit scorers Grant Basile and Justyn Mutts no longer in Blacksburg, it’s a huge plus to have all the guards back in the fold, and head coach Mike Young knows it.
