Virginia Tech has been extending their fair share of new offers during the spring evaluation period including one to 2025 four-star WR Emmanuel Dyson out of Baltimore powerhouse DeMatha Catholic.

He had this to say about his reaction to receiving a Virginia Tech offer.
"When I first was offered by VT, I was smiling and thanked (RBs) coach (Elijah) Brooks for the scholarship offer! He told me he liked my swag and was only looking for dawgs. I told him I'm just what he’s looking for," Dyson said.
As mentioned above, Dyson received the offer during a conversation with RBs coach Elijah Brooks and added this on how his conversation was with Brooks as a whole.
"It was great. He said he expects big things from me this year, and I definitely expect to exceed that expectation and wow then with my abilities," Dyson said.
Dyson didn't just suddenly emerge on Tech's radar though as the Hokies have been showing a ton of interest in Dyson as he told us.
"I received a lot of interest prior to the offer. When I was officially ranked as a four-star prospect, (WRs) coach (Fontel) Mines and a lot of the staff from VT followed me and showed love to each of my post from then on so I knew it was coming from then," Dyson said.
Dyson has already built up a decent early offer list with Virginia Tech, Maryland, Temple, USF, and Charlotte though other Power 5 schools like UCF and Boston College are showing interest. Additionally, he's a four-star recruit according to Rivals and playing at a well-known program like DeMatha Catholic gives him a great opportunity to raise his profile even further.
So how does this offer impact his recruitment and where VT stands in it?
"It impacts it a lot. More schools including schools in the ACC are recognizing me more, but VT has definitely shown me love so far. I like what the coaches are about and how they are trying to build as a whole," Dyson said.
Virginia Tech has tossed their hat in the ring of the recruitment of 2025 four-star WR Emmanuel Dyson with the next step being to get the rising junior on campus soon.
