Virginia Tech hosted loads of talented recruits this past weekend for the Spring Game including 2023 DB DaShawn Stone who received an offer from the Hokies during his visit.

He had this to say about his reaction to receiving a VT offer.
"I was just very happy and appreciative at getting this offer," Stone said.
Stone received the offer from defensive assistant Shawn Quinn and had this to say about how his conversation with Quinn was as a whole.
"It was great. We just really talked about what they're trying to build over there," Stone said.
His visit also went about as well as his conversation with Shawn Quinn did as he told us.
"My visit as a whole was great. I really enjoyed myself," Stone said on how his visit went as a whole.
His visit was largely centered around the Spring Game as you would expect with his experience in Lane Stadium helping make it a "great" visit as he told us.
"The game made the visit pretty special. Just a small taste of what it's like to play there on Saturday," Stone said on what made it a "great" visit for him.
The fact that Tech offered him during his visit shouldn't come as a surprise after he had a strong junior season with 80 tackles, 5 interceptions, and 3 touchdowns for A.C. Reynolds HS out of Asheville, NC. He's also built up a solid offer list that also includes Wake Forest, Virginia, Duke, Liberty, and Coastal Carolina.
So how does this offer and visit impact Stone's recruitment and where Virginia Tech stands in his recruitment?
"It definitely impacted my recruitment. Right now, I'm just carefully considering every school," Stone said.
What's clear is that Virginia Tech made a strong impression on DaShawn Stone as a whole this weekend with the Hokies emerging as a contender for the Asheville standout.
