Virginia Tech OL Hunter McLain announced that he will be entering the transfer portal.

McLain is the seventh Hokie to enter the transfer portal joining TE Dae'Quan Wright, CB Derrick Canteen, RB Bryce Duke, WR Da'Wain Lofton, RB Chance Black, and OL Johnny Dickson. He will have three years of eligibility.
McLain arrived at VT after Brent Pry offered the then Richmond commit on Early Signing Day in December 2021 with McLain Signing with Tech that day. However, McLain was unable to gain traction and break into the two-deep for the Hokies.
Tech still is a couple scholarships so to fit the full class of transfers that'd you expect for then, you can safely expect several more transfers out.
