The transfer portal entry window may be closed for football and basketball, but there is still plenty of movement as Virginia Tech’s various teams look to add some more pieces to their rosters. So with that in mind, here are updates on football, both basketball teams, and wrestling in regards to the transfer portal.
Football
Virginia Tech has limited spots left at this point after adding four players via the transfer portal. Two potential positions where VT may add talent, LB and WR, have not seen any additions made yet, raising speculation on who VT will add at those positions.
Let’s look at a couple names I’m monitoring among those positions.
