Virginia Tech Men’s Basketball’s roster rebuild continued today as California SG Rodney Brown Jr announced his commitment to the Hokies.

Brown joins the Hokies after spending one season at Cal during which he averaged 3.5 points, 1.1 assists, and 0.9 rebounds in 14.2 minutes per game while shooting 40.6% from the field including 39.7% from three-point range plus 85.7% from the free-throw line. He has three years of eligibility remaining.
The 6’6’’ Brown is the Hokies’ third transfer portal addition this offseason joining UTSA SG Jordan Ivy-Curry (who is also testing the NBA Draft waters) and Charleston All-CAA SF Ben Burnham.
