Anderson is ranked as the 66th best recruit in the country by ESPN and commits to the Hokies after taking an official visit to VT earlier this week. She is the Hokies' third top 100 commit in the first two full recruiting cycles for Megan Duffy, joining four-star F Amani Jenkins and four-star G Kate Sears.
Anderson had an impressive junior season during which she earned MaxPreps Junior All-American Honorable Mention honors after averaging 23.9 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game. She also broke her high school's career scoring and rebounding records, an incredible accomplishment for a player with still another year remaining.
This is a strong addition for the Hokies as Anderson has proven herself to be a dominant player in the state of Washington. It's also an impressive recruiting job by the Hokies to go across the country to poach one of their top targets and bring her to Blacksburg.
Tech still has more work ahead in their 2026 class with 247 Sports' Dushawn London reporting that Virginia Tech will host four-star combo guard Atlee Vanesko on an official visit on the weekend of September 6th.
