The Hokies have made another big transfer portal splash as Michigan State sharpshooter and All-B1G Honorable Mention honoree Matilda Ekh has signed with Virginia Tech.
The 6'0'' wing from Sweden is the third transfer addition of this offseason for the Hokies along with Minnesota's All-B1G Honorable Mention forward Alanna Micheaux and Wake Forest starting forward Olivia Summiel.
Ekh was one of the best shooters in the Big 10 over her two seasons in East Lansing shooting 39% from three-point range while averaging 11.8 points plus 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.
Ekh will fit right in on the wing alongside Cayla King as talented three-point shooters who can provide some great floor spacing for Liz Kitley in the paint. Combine those 2 with star PG Georgia Amoore and the Hokies have one of, if not the best, backcourt shooting trio in America.
We will have more as this story develops.
