Mike Young and Virginia Tech Men’s Basketball are busy in the transfer portal as they look to rebuild around a corps of Tobi Lawal, Tyler Johnson, Jaden Schutt, and Ben Hammond. In addition to getting North Dakota State standout Jacari White to visit, the Hokies are also pushing for visits with a couple other backcourt targets per source.
Five-star forward Baba Oladotun, a Hokie legacy, is set to Virginia Tech next weekend on an official visit per basketball recruiting insider Sam Kayser.
Hokies are set to host one of their top backcourt targets on an official visit in early September.
Hokies are currently standing out for a four-star point guard and priority 2026 target.
