Virginia Tech Among Three Finalists For Three-Star DB T.J. Quinn

TJ Quinn VT Wake Forest 2019

Three-star DB T.J. Quinn will be playing college football in the ACC, but where in the ACC still remains a mystery as Quinn is down to three finalists.

Quinn told us that his three finalists are Virginia Tech, Louisville, N.C. State; the three schools that are currently standing out in his recruitment. While Quinn doesn't have a specific date set yet, he did tell us that he was planning on making his decision "sometime this month."

The Hokies have made Quinn a priority DB target for a while and that has been paying off with the relationship the two have built, part of the reason why the Hokies are standing out for him.

"I have a great relationship with the coaching staff at VT, and the culture they have there," Quinn said.

Louisville hasn't been involved in Quinn's recruitment as long, but the Cardinals and Quinn seem to be on the same page in regards to how they believe Quinn could fit in their defense.

"The way that i can fit into their defense and how they can use me in different ways, and how they are changing things up there," Quinn said about why Louisville is standing out.

Meanwhile, N.C. State has stood out primarily because of the reputation their coaches have for developing NFL talent.

"Just how they are known for putting DBs in the league, coaches wise. They know what it takes to get there," Quinn said.

While all three schools have different standing out for them, T.J. Quinn also knows what the most important factors will be when he makes his decision.

"It’s all about the fit and the relationship with the coaching staff, and if it’s a place I can see myself going to for the next 3-4 years," Quinn said.

Decision day is fast approaching for three-star DB T.J. Quinn with Virginia Tech right in the hunt battling a pair of ACC rivals for the talented defensive back from Georgia.
