Talented OT Terez Davis out of Maryland powerhouse DeMatha Catholic was among those visiting Virginia Tech this past week with Davis leaving Blacksburg with an offer from the Hokies.

He had this to say about his reaction to receiving a Virginia Tech offer.
"I was very excited because I love Virginia Tech and it’s very close to home so I was praying I got it, very excited," Davis said.
He received the offer during a conversation with RBs coach Elijah Brooks who is always his area recruiter and had this to say about how that conversations was as a whole.
"It was great. I was very happy. We talked about Virginia Tech and the school and what the culture is like," Davis said.
So how was his visit to Blacksburg as a whole?
"It was great. The coaching staff is amazing and the facilities are very nice," Davis said. "I love how genuine the people are. They really care about you. I definitely am going to be back in the summer."
He had this to say about what he during his visit to Virginia Tech.
"We first went to the photoshoot, then we got some great food. After that, I got a chance to see what the (team) meeting and film (review) was like and what goes on daily for those guys," Davis said. "Also, we got a chance to see the practice and how much energy those guys play with and the tempo they play with."
His visit also including spending time with OL coach Ron Crook and his area recruiter Elijah Brooks. He had this to say about his time with Crook.
"It was great. I spent of lot of time with him in the film room. He is a great coach and really ambitious about his guys," Davis said.
He had this to say about his time with Brooks who has recruited him previously while at Maryland.
"It was great. We got to talk a lot about Virginia Tech, his transition to VT, and my recruitment overall," Davis said.
So how did this offer and visit impact his recruitment and where Virginia Tech stands in it?
"It impacted it a lot. Me and Coach Brooks have a really good relationship. He’s the one who gave me my first opportunity and saw something in me when he was at Maryland so as far as Virginia Tech goes, they're definitely up there," Davis said.
With an offer and a great visit, Virginia Tech has put themselves right in the hunt for 2024 OT Terez Davis.
