Virginia Tech Football Visitor List (6/20-25)

Keylen Adams 3 June 2022 VT Visit

The final week of the June recruiting calendar is upon us as the Hokies are set for another big official visit weekend while also having a pair of camps this upcoming weekend and plenty of other recruits visiting throughout the week.

There are some big names on this list headlined by four-star WR Keylen Adams out of the 757 as first reported by On3. The Hokies have been the constant among the top contenders throughout his recruitment with this becoming a three-team between Tech, South Carolina who hosted him twice earlier this month, and Alabama who hosted him this past weekend. For Tech, this is a huge opportunity to flip the surge that South Carolina has made this month and fortify themselves as the frontrunner.

Four-star DE Gerard Johnson out of the 757 is down to the Hokies and UVA ahead of his VT official visit after taking one to Charlottesville earlier this month. The Hoos may have the momentum at the moment but Tech has a great chance to flip that with a decision likely soon for Johnson.

Four-star QB Davi Belfort will be on campus and certainly helping recruits Tech's other visitors including big time offensive targets like Adams and Mekhai White.

Maryland and Tech are at the forefront for three-star ATH Mekhai White with the Terps appearing to have the clear edge ahead of his official visit to Blacksburg. There's no doubt that White would be a big in-state get for the Hokies, but they have some work to do this weekend.

A pair of big time Richmond targets will be on campus in three-star DB Noah Jenkins and three-star DE Makai Byerson. Tech seems to be in a very good spot for Jenkins while Byerson has already taken official visits to West Virginia, Rutgers, and Kentucky prior to this visit with Tech having a big chance to make a move given that this is his final official visit of June.

Three-star OT Keyonte Arrington out of the 757 has emerged as a top target for the Hokies since OL coach Ron Crook's arrival and though he doesn't currently plan on making a decision soon, I do like where the Hokies stand.

Update: Arrington will not be visiting this weekend but is planning to take a fall official visit.

Three-star ATH Daniel Coles from Northern Virginia told us last week that he was slated to visit VT this weekend. There are rumors that those plans may be changing though. If he does visit, he is another intriguing visitor who could even be on commit watch this weekend.

Update: Coles has confirmed to us that he is not visiting VT this weekend after rumors emerged yesterday evening.

There will be some other notable visitors this week including from Florida with 2025 LB Julian Mendez and 2026 QB Noah Grubbs visiting this week.

Note that this list will be updated as recruits either publicly state their plans to visit whether on social media or public articles, tell us directly that they are planning to visit, or a source confirms a visitor with us. An asterisk is next to the names of recruits who currently do not hold a VT offer.
