Virginia Tech hosted a talented group of recruits during their dominant 36-17 victory against Wake Forest including three-star safety TJ Quinn who enjoyed his visit a lot.
"The visit was good, i enjoyed the game along with the hospitality that they gave me and my family," Quinn said.
Quinn's visit included time spent inside Lane Stadium and at the Indoor Practice Facility where Quinn had the chance to talk with multiple Virginia Tech coaches including head coach Justin Fuente who discussed how the Hokies have seen him improve this fall.
"We talked about how the season was going, that they had watched my film earlier that week, and how they liked how I’m getting better," Quinn said.
Quinn also had the chance to spend time with his potential collegiate coach, safeties coach Justin Hamilton, who he discussed several things with including how he may fit in Virginia Tech's defense.
"We talked about how I would fit in with their defense and how my season was going, and also about the recruiting process and how it goes," Quinn said.
Virginia Tech made Quinn a priority with the Hokies' coaching staff standing out the most towards him.
"Their staff is what stood out to me the most, all the love that they showed towards me," Quinn said.
So how did this visit impact his recruitment and view of Virginia Tech?
"It affected my recruitment a lot and made me look at them differently, watching them play made me envision how I can see myself playing for them," Quinn said.
More importantly for the Hokies, Quinn told us that Virginia Tech is the leader in his recruitment and had this to say about why.
"VT has just shown me the most love out of any school I have talked to during my recruitment," Quinn said.
Currently, Quinn only has offers from Virginia Tech and Coastal Carolina, but the Hokies may be joined by more Power 5 schools soon with Kentucky and Wake Forest both showing lots of interest in Quinn.
For now, Virginia Tech is in great shape with TJ Quinn, but will likely have more competition soon for the talented Georgia defensive back's services.
