It's a busy time of year for college basketball coaches recruiting top targets and evaluating rising talents at big events like the annual Peach Jam event in Augusta, GA. One of those Peach Jam rising talents proved to be three-star SF David Punch out of Texas who received multiple major conference offers recently including one from Virginia Tech.
Five-star forward Baba Oladotun, a Hokie legacy, is set to Virginia Tech next weekend on an official visit per basketball recruiting insider Sam Kayser.
Hokies are set to host one of their top backcourt targets on an official visit in early September.
Hokies are currently standing out for a four-star point guard and priority 2026 target.
