Virginia Tech is set to host one of their top overall 2024 targets on an official visit this weekend in four-star SG Juke Harris out of Salisbury, NC.

Harris recently released his Top 6 which included Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Kansas, Tennessee, LSU and Miami.

Harris' visit comes as the Hokies recently made his top 6 along with Kansas, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Miami, and LSU.

This included eliminating a bunch of other big time programs including Virginia, NC State, Illinois, Houston, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Mississippi State, Georgetown, VCU, and more. He also is a consensus top 50 2024 recruit in the ranking by 247 Sports, Rivals, and On3.
He had this to say about why the Hokies made his top 6.
"Coach (Christian) Webster has been to multiple of my high school games and Coach (Mike) Young makes sure he reaches out to me after games. I like the whole campus and coaching staff, and feel like I can make an impact there my freshman year," Harris said.
He had this to say about his relationship with assistant coach Christian Webster who is taking a lead role in recruiting Harris.
"It's really good. I feel like we built a relationship outside of basketball," Harris said.
He added this on his relationship with Hokies head coach Mike Young.
"It's also a really good one. I watched them play in person against UNC, and I went to the locker room and after the game, Coach Young showed me a lot of love," Harris said.
In the modern recruiting rankings Era, Virginia Tech has only signed 2 consensus top 50 recruits in the country based on the 247 Sports Composite: Dorian Finney-Smith and Nickeil Alexander-Walker. There's no doubt that landing Harris would be massive in terms of Tech's historic basketball recruiting, and the Hokies are a clear contender for his commitment.
The Hokies now have a great chance to build on their strong positioning for Juke Harris with Harris visiting for another big home game as his recruitment starts nearing the finish line.
