Defensive tackle is arguably Virginia Tech's biggest transfer portal with Pheldarius Payne, Norell Pollard, and Mario Kendricks all out of eligibility. Josh Fuga is returning for the Hokies but other than him and Wilfried Pene, there is no experience back for the Hokies in 2024 at this time.
Tech likely will need to take at least two or three defensive tackle from the transfer portal and the JUCO ranks to reload that group. So who are the Hokies looking at? Here are some names to monitor.
