Virginia Tech Wrestling put on quite the show Friday night against Appalachian State at the Center for the Performing Arts at Virginia Tech, formerly known as the Miss Arts Center.

The seventh-ranked Hokies won every match against the Mountaineers for a 39-0 overall victory, and many of the individual victories came in dominating fashion. Here's how it all went down:

• 125: No. 4 Eddie Ventresca wins via tech fall over Cooper Foster 20-5

• 133: No. 11 Dillon Campbell gets the 4-0 Decision over Jarvis Little

• 141: Drew Gorman wins via tech fall over Aldo Fernandez 16-0

• 149: No. 10 Collin Gaj wins by major decision 10-2 over No. 33 Kaden Keiser

• 157: No. 16 Ethen Miller gets the 6-3 decision over Jeremiah Price

• 165: Mac Church wins via major decision over Anthony Conetta 9-0

• 174: Sergio Desiante wins via tech fall over Colt Campbell 18-2

• 184: Jaden Bullock gets the upset decision over No. 25 Tomas Brooker 8-6

• 197: No. 17 Sonny Sasso wins via major decision over Logan Eller 8-0

• HWT: No. 16 Jimmy Mullen gets the decision over Stephen Moncherry 12-6

Mac Church had what was arguably the craziest win of the night based off of how it all went down. The first period had no action with neither wrestler scoring any points. The second period, however, had all the drama. Church got an escape to start the period. Anthony Conetta then appeared to be in prime position to get a takedown, but Church miraculously flips Conetta and takes him down instead. He then put Conetta on his back to get four near fall points to end the period.

Freshman Drew Gorman looked like a seasoned vet as accumulated multiple takedowns and near fall points in his tech fall over Aldo Fernandez. He started over No. 14 Tom Crook. Gorman's first take down and near fall points came as the clock expired in the first period. He proceeded to escape after choosing to start the third period down and got two more four-second near falls.

Sergio Desiante and Eddie Ventresca both dominated their matches. Both wrestlers got take down after take down and multiple near fall points.

Jaden Bullock looked to be in trouble late in the third period as Tomas Brooker appeared to be in position to take him down. Bullock held out just long enough as time expired, however, and escaped with the win, one of the best of his season to date.

Collin Gaj came up big in the last matchup of the night. He got a take down and three near fall points as time winded down which led to his major decision.

Jimmy Mullen's matchup was tight heading into the third period, but Mullen escaped to start the period and got a takedown plus riding time for the comfortable win over Stephen Moncherry.

Sonny Sasso made it look easy against Logan Eller. He got a couple take downs, riding time and an escape in his major decision.

Ethen Miller got off to a quick 5-1 start over Jeremiah Price. He got an escape to start the second period. Jeremiah Price wasn't going away easy, however, as he managed to get a reversal on Miller with under a minute to go. Miller did what he needed to do in the end and escaped with a 6-3 win.

The Hokies are back at Cassell Coliseum next Friday to resume conference play against Stanford at 7 p.m. It will air on the ACC Network if you aren't able to be there in person.
