Brennan Johnson is the son of former VT DB Loren Johnson and brother of current VT DB Braylon Johnson. Brennan Johnson chose the Hokies over other offers from Penn State, Tennessee, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Michigan State, Maryland, Virginia, Indiana, Boston College, Duke, and others.
Johnson is the third linebacker commit in this class joining four-star Brett Clatterbaugh and three-star Noah Chambers. He is also the eleventh commit from Virginia in this class including the first from the Richmond area.
With Johnson on board, the Hokies are most likely done at linebacker for this recruiting class, with a transfer portal addition being a possibility after this season.
We will have more as this story develops.
