Just over a year ago, punt return was a nightmare for Virginia Tech, with no clear answer apparent.
Enter Tucker Holloway, who brought some stability simply by being consistent with his fair catches initially. Then, Holloway had a breakout moment against Georgia Tech with seven returns for 188 yards, including a 90-yard punt return touchdown.
But that was still only one game, and with few opportunities after that, it wasn't clear if that was a mirage against a poor punt coverage team in Georgia Tech or not.
Eight games into the 2023 season, it's clear that Holloway is one of the best punt returners in the country.
