On Wednesday, Virginia Tech announces its 2025 Sports Hall of Fame class, adding seven new former athletes.

The seven new additions are Kaylea Arnott (Swimming & Diving), Kevin Barker (Baseball), Devin Carter (Wrestling), Kendall Fuller (Football), Erick Green (Basketball), Courtney Liddle Barbour (Softball), and Scot Vincent (Golf).

The group will be honored at halftime of Virginia Tech's second home football game on September 20th against Wofford.

Kayla Arnett
A cornerstone of Virginia Tech Swimming & Diving from 2011–2015, Kayla Arnett competed for four seasons, including a redshirt year, and left an indelible mark on the program. She holds multiple program records and is a three-time All-American. Arnett's talent was showcased on the national stage when she won two gold medals at the 2012 Olympic Diving Trials held in Washington.

Kevin Barker
Kevin Barker capped his collegiate baseball career in dominant fashion, earning the title of 1996 Atlantic 10 Player of the Year. In his final season with the Hokies, he slashed .361/.492/.792 while tallying 20 home runs and 62 RBIs in 52 games.

Barker went on to play Major League Baseball, making his debut with the Milwaukee Brewers and later suiting up for the Padres, Blue Jays, and Reds. He posted a .249 career batting average at the major league level.

Devin Carter
A pioneer in Virginia Tech Wrestling history, Devin Carter became the program’s first NCAA finalist, finishing as the national runner-up at 141 pounds in 2014. A three-time All-American and four-time ACC champion, Carter competed from 2011–2014 and helped elevate the Hokies wrestling program to national prominence.

Kendall Fuller
One of the greatest cornerbacks in Virginia Tech football history, Kendall Fuller made an immediate impact with eight career interceptions—six coming during his freshman campaign. His standout 2013 season included a three-interception performance against Duke in a narrow 13–10 loss.

Drafted in the third round by Washington, Fuller also played for the Kansas City Chiefs, where he won a Super Bowl, before returning to Washington and later joining the Miami Dolphins for the 2024 season. He is currently a free agent.

Erick Green
Erick Green lit up the college basketball world during his senior season in 2012–2013, leading the nation with 25.0 points per game and earning ACC Player of the Year and All-American honors. With career shooting splits of 47.5% FG / 38.9% 3PT / 81.6% FT, Green started 89 games and played in 129 overall during his four-year Virginia Tech career. He played in the NBA for the Denver Nuggets and Utah Jazz before starring in Europe, where he captured five championships and earned MVP honors at the 2017 Spanish Supercup.

Courtney Liddle Barbour
Courtney Liddle Barbour enjoyed a stellar four-year softball career with Virginia Tech, earning three All-ACC selections. She is the program’s all-time leader in career walks and ranks second in career on-base percentage (.467), trailing only Cori McMillan. Her consistency made her one of the most disciplined and effective hitters in program history.

Scott Vincent
Widely regarded as the greatest men’s golfer in Virginia Tech history, Scott Vincent was an All-American who led the Hokies to four consecutive NCAA Regional appearances. His excellence extended beyond collegiate play, as he represented Zimbabwe in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Vincent's accomplishments have set a lasting standard for the program.
