Multiple reports have emerged today that Virginia Tech DB Tyree Rodgers has entered the transfer portal.
I can confirm the #Hokies DB Tyree Rodgers has put his name in the transfer portal. A reserve safety who spent much of last year focusing on academics, Rodgers played in 32 games and had 21 tackles (almost all of which were in 2018) with Virginia Tech.

Rodgers played in 32 games starting in 3 games during the 2018 season for the Hokies. He finished his Tech career with 21 tackles including 1.5 for loss plus a forced fumble. He will have one year of eligibility at his next school.
