Virginia Tech made some big additions to their 2024 high school recruiting class early in this cycle, but one of the biggest dominoes came in mid-June when four-star LB Gabe Williams committed to the Hokies.
His commitment sent a major statement that big time talent believed in what Brent Pry was doing at Virginia Tech. However, Williams proved after that to be a very vocal recruiter trying to get plenty of other big time recruits to join him at Virginia Tech.
For Brent Pry, having a guy like Williams be vocal in recruiting for the Hokies was valuable for adding guys and keeping those who were committed.
