Virginia Tech has announced the uniform combination that they will where in their opener tomorrow against Boston College.

According to a video tweeted out by the @HokiesFB Twitter account, the Hokies will be wearing maroon helmets with white facemasks, white jerseys, and maroon pants. White gloves, socks, and cleats will complete the look.
This will be the first time that the Hokies have worn this uniform combination. Last season, Virginia Tech wore maroon helmets with maroon facemasks, white jerseys, and maroon pants at Duke. That look also included black socks and cleats instead of white ones.
It will also be the first time that the Hokies have worn white facemasks with the traditional maroon helmet. Last season, the white facemasks only appeared on the matte maroon helmets, not the traditional ones.
It is a new season, and Virginia Tech is ready to go to battle with a sharp new look. It all starts tomorrow at 4 pm in Chestnut Hill.
