It's not often that college football plays on holidays, but many including Virginia Tech will be playing on Halloween this year. Because of that, the Hokies decided to have a Halloween themed video to reveal their uniforms.

Virginia Tech pulled out all the stops with this video from the hockey mask to the old railroad tracks at night as they revealed that they are going with their classic road look of maroon helmets, white jerseys, and maroon pants.
The Hokies also went with a pair of players in star defensive back Chamarri Conner, who has been one of Tech's best players this season, and offensive lineman Tyrell Smith, who is the elder statesman on the Hokies' roster.
There will be some uniform contrast on the field as Louisville is going all-back as many home teams are doing this Halloween.
Of course, the most notable thing is the fact that this is the first football game between the Hokies and Cardinals since Louisville first joined the ACC. That fact is simply insane and a reminder that the ACC could use some conference scheduling reform which in my view should include no divisions which would allow 8 conference games to be split among 3 yearly opponents and 5 opponents that rotate on and off every other year.
